Hewitt re-signed with the Texans on a one-year deal Thursday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Hewitt spent the last two seasons in Houston and played in 14 games last year, contributing 14 tackles (10 solo). The 30-year-old mostly made his mark on special teams though, seeing 307 snaps with the unit. He'll likely play a similar role in 2023.
