Hill was released by the Redskins on Saturday, ESPN's Adam Caplan reports.
Hill signed with Washington in early November after parting ways with Seattle, but hasn't played in a single game this season due to a hamstring injury. The Redskins needed his roster spot in order to sign long snapper Rick Lovato.
