Frank Kearse: Released from Pats' IR

Kearse (hand) was released from the Patriots' injured reserve list after reaching an injury settlement with the team Thursday, Ben Volin of the Boston Globe reports.

Kearse suffered an injury to his hand over the course of the preseason, but was also treated for a minor stab wound last week following a non-football-related incident. He's since been released from the hospital, but no timetable has been provided for his recovery.
