Kouandjio was waived by the Lions on Monday, Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Kouandjio joined the Lions in the offseason after spending three seasons with the Bills. He was competing for a role providing depth on the offensive line, but the Lions ultimately decided to let the 24-year-old go. He underwent hip surgery in January, which was apparently still hindering his mobility.
