Colts' Brian Tyms: Placed on injured reserve

Tyms was placed on injured reserve after suffering an undisclosed injury in Friday's practice, the Indianapolis Star reports.

Tyms, who was seen leaving practice with a possible rib injury, was perhaps the leading candidate for the fourth wide receiver role after a strong spring. Indy's depth chart after the top three receivers is a wide open competition this summer with Tyms out.
