Linsley (illness) is expected to land on injured reserve Saturday, Eric Smith of the Chargers' official site reports.
Linsley is dealing with a heart-related medical issue, so the team will obviously exercise caution until everything is resolved. He will be required to miss at least four weeks while on IR, so he is looking at a Week 8 return at the earliest. In his absence, Will Clapp will likely take over at center.
