Hurst has been promoted to the Bears' active roster, Rich Campbell of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Hurst's promotion comes on the heels of Deiondre' Hall being inactive for Week 5. Hurst likely will just be a depth option and shouldn't be expected to have a large role on defense.
