Jones was placed on the reserve/retired list Saturday, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Jones signed a contract with the Titans in early June after spending the first eight seasons of his career in Jacksonville, but it appears as though he'll hang up his cleats ahead of training camp. The 29-year-old appeared in 105 games with the Jaguars and totaled 196 tackles (129 solo), including 9.5 sacks, along with 12 pass defensed, three forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries.
