49ers' Garry Gilliam: Suffers concussion

Gilliam sustained a concussion during Thursday's preseason game against the Cowboys, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Gilliam was able to play only seven snaps in the preseason opener before exiting with concussion symptoms. The 27-year-old will have to clear the league's concussion protocol before returning to the field.
