Pelicans' Malcolm Hill: Assigned to G League

The New Orleans Pelicans have assigned Hill to the G League's Birmingham Squadron on Thursday.

While Hill has still not appeared in a game for the Pelicans yet this season, he will likely reclaim his spot as a major contributor for the Squadron. His elevated play throughout the month of January (headlined with a 44-point performance Jan. 20) may also keep him on standby should the Pelicans desire wing depth in the future.
