Buxton is absent from the lineup for Monday's game against the Rockies.
Buxton is slashing just .185/.243/.308 in 19 games since coming off the injured list May 18 and is only 3-for-26 with a 32.1 percent strikeout rate so far in June. Manuel Margot will get the call in center field for the Twins on Monday.
