Brennan is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Angels.
He'll join fellow left-handed hitters Bo Naylor, Kyle Manzardo and Estevan Florial on the bench while the Angels bring southpaw Reid Detmers to the bump. Johnathan Rodriguez will start in right field in Brennan's stead.
