Brennan isn't in the Guardians' lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rockies.
With left-hander Ty Blach set to toe the slab for Colorado, Brennan and his .550 OPS versus LHP will begin the game in the dugout. His absence will allow Johnathan Rodriguez to start in right field while batting sixth.
