DAYTON, Ohio (AP) Steven Davis scored 26 points and Justin Mitchell added another 21 as Wright State used a big first half to clobber Division II-Urbana, 85-34 Tuesday night.

Ethan Snapp hit a 3-pointer to give the Blue Knights a 5-2 lead, but Wright State swarmed into the lead on Mike La Tulip's two treys sandwiched around two free throws that made it 18-10 with 13:18 left and raced to a 43-17 halftime lead.

The Raiders (7-4) were playing their lone home game in an eight-game stretch.

Wright State shot 50.9 percent from the field (27 of 53) and even better (55.6 percent on 10-of-18 shooting) from distance. La Tulip contributed 16 points by hitting 4 of 6 from deep. Mitchell was a perfect 7 for 7 from the field.

DeQuan Abrom scored eight points off the Urbana bench and the Blue Knights collectively shot 12 of 58 (20.7 percent) from the field.
