NEW HAVEN, Conn. (AP) Alex Copeland and Miye Oni combined to score 45 points and Yale posted a wire-to-wire, 90-59 romp past Central Connecticut State Tuesday night.

The Bulldogs, who remain unbeaten at home, got a 3-pointer from Blake Reynolds to open the game and took a 44-28 lead at intermission.

Copeland finished with 23 points on 10-of-14 shooting from the field. Oni hit 7 of 8 from deep to add 22 points. Yale collectively shot 57.9 percent from the field, hitting 33 of 57 shots from the floor, including 14 of 27 from distance.

Austin Nehls scored 19 points to lead Central Connecticut (2-7), which shot 20 of 54 from the field (37 percent) and 5 of 16 from distance.

The victory extended three Bulldog win streaks: a four-game win streak, an 18-game home win streak and a nine-game win streak against in-state opponents. Yale (6-4) now takes an eight-day break for final exams.
