For the 14th consecutive season UConn is into the Final Four, after a thrilling 91-87, double-overtime win over NC State. Despite the Wolfpack being the No. 1 seed in the Bridgeport region, the selection committee decided to place UConn as the No. 2 seed in this region which resulted in what amounted to a home game for the Huskies, some 80 miles away from their campus and in the same state.

The game was one on the greatest in NCAA Women's Championship history, with it being the first in the Elite Eight or later to go to double OT. Page Beuckers, arguably the most well-known player in the country, scored 27 points -- including 15 in the two overtime periods -- in an epic performance, worthy of comparison to Diana Taurasi or Maya Moore in the annals of UConn tournament history to keep her team in the hunt for a national championship.

The Huskies will now head to Minneapolis where they'll take on the defending national champion Stanford Cardinal, out of the Spokane Region in the Final Four. UConn is looking for its first national championship since 2016.

All of the 2022 Women's NCAA Tournament games will air on the ESPN family of networks, and you can stream every game on fuboTV (try for free).
