Manchester United look to keep rolling at Old Trafford when they host Crystal Palace in an English Premier League match Saturday. Manchester United (12-3-5) have won 12 matches in a row at the Theatre of Dreams across all competitions, including five straight in league play. They defeated Nottingham Forest 2-0 in an EFL Cup semifinal there Wednesday to clinch a spot in the final against Newcastle. The Red Devils are in fourth place in the Premier League table, tied with Newcastle on points and three ahead of fifth-place Tottenham. Crystal Palace (6-6-8) are 12th, but they have been a thorn in the side of the Red Devils lately. They hosted United in a makeup game at Selhurst Park on Jan. 18 and held them to a 1-1 draw.

Kickoff at Old Trafford in Manchester, England is set for 10 a.m. ET. Why you should back Manchester United

The Red Devils won't take this one for granted, and they are the far superior team playing on their home turf. Manchester United are 7-1-1 in their nine EPL home matches, with a 17-5 goal advantage. Crystal Palace have been shut out in six of their nine away games, scoring seven of their 18 goals on the road.  Man Utd will miss midfielder Chrisitan Eriksen, but the Eagles will be missing top scorer Wilfried Zaha, as both are out with long-term injuries.

Manchester United have more than enough talent to make up for the loss, with Fred and Casemiro also part of the stellar midfield and several attackers who can fill the hole. Jadon Sancho (two goals in 10 games) is back from injury, and Bruno Fernandes (four goals, four assists) scored the United goal in the previous meeting. Antony and Anthony Martial both have scored three goals, but the Red Devils' attack revolves around the in-form Marcus Rashford. The 25-year-old has scored 10 goals in his past 12 matches overall and has nine in league play. He assisted on both goals in Wednesday's League Cup victory, with Martial and Fred cashing in.

Why you should back Crystal Palace

The Eagles certainly have had United's number in recent years, going 3-2-2 in the past seven league meetings. They have taken seven points from the last four meetings at Old Trafford, including a 2-1 victory in August 2019 and a 3-1 victory just over a year later. Being without top scorer Zaha will hurt, but Eberechi Eze and Odsonne Edouard have three goals apiece and Michael Olise has scored twice, so they can get it done. Those three have combined for 10 assists.

Holding a pair of top-four teams to draws should give the Eagles confidence. Crystal Palace made a couple of additions in the transfer window, with young midfielders Naouirou Ahamada and Albert Sambi Lokonga coming over. Either could debut in the middle of the pitch Saturday. Jordan Ayew (one goal, one assist) is likely to join Olise and Edouard, with Eze and Jeffrey Schlupp playing behind them.
