Bruins' Mason Lohrei: Recalled from minors
Lohrei was recalled from AHL Providence on Tuesday, per Conor Ryan of The Boston Globe.
Lohrei has played 41 games with the big club this season, registering four goals and nine assists to go along with 43 shots on goal. The 23-year-old could play in Game 3 versus Toronto on Wednesday as Andrew Peeke (finger) and Derek Forbort (undisclosed) are both dealing with injuries. If he gets into Game 3, Lohrei will likely either play on the second or third defensive pairing.

Lohrei was reassigned to AHL Providence on Saturday, Steve Conroy of the Boston Herald reports.
Lohrei was recalled Friday to practice with the big club. He had four goals, 13 points, 32 hits and 63 blocks in 41 NHL games during the 2023-24 regular season. Lohrei will be in the lineup for Providence on Saturday against Bridgeport.

Lohrei has played quite well for the Bruins in limited action this season, managing four goals, nine assists, 32 hits and 63 blocked shots in 41 games. He showed his offensive ability with Providence, picking up a goal and 14 assists in only 19 games. At this point it isn't clear if the rookie blueliner will crack Boston's lineup during the playoffs.

Lohrei spent just one day in the minors, having been reassigned to Providence on Friday. He has six assists in 10 minor-league games as well as three goals and six points in 22 outings with Boston in 2023-24.
