  • Maple Leafs' Auston Matthews: Pockets two helpers

Matthews notched two assists during Tuesday's 4-3 loss to Philadelphia.

While not the goal explosion we are used to from Matthews, he did pick up two assists versus the Flyers including one on the power play to start the third period. The 26-year old added four shots, one hit and a minus-1 rating in 23:04 of ice time. In his last five games, Matthews has one goal and three assists. Matthews has delivered 14 goals and 22 points in 15 games since the All-Star break, and he's pulled away in the race for the Rocket Richard Trophy with 54 goals in 61 games on the season, nine tallies ahead of second-place Sam Reinhart.
