Lightning's Brayden Point: Good to go Monday
Point (undisclosed) will suit up Monday against the Maple Leafs, Gabby Shirley of Bally Sports Florida reports.
Point was considered a game-time decision but he joined the team for warmups and will be in the lineup. The 27-year-old has three points and 13 shots through three games this series. He'll be in his usual top-six role Monday.

Point (undisclosed) will be a game-time decision for Game 4 against Toronto on Monday, Gabby Shirley of Bally Sports Florida reports.
Head coach Jon Cooper said Monday morning that Point "should be in," so consider the Lightning forward to be closer to probable for Game 4. The 27-year-old Point was able to return to Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Leafs after crashing into the end boards. He has notched two goals and one assist in three games this postseason.

Lightning's Brayden Point: Returns after awkward fall
Point left the game temporarily after an awkward hit in the third period of Saturday's 4-3 overtime loss to Toronto in Game 3. He laid on the ice for a few minutes holding his chest, but he was able to return to action.
He finished with seven shots and three hits, but no points. The hit was a high-speed impact with the boards after he and Morgan Rielly battled for the puck in the Leafs end. Point got up and took a few strides toward his bench, but he fell hard to the ice clutching his chest. There was no update on the specifics of his injury, but the Bolts are hoping Point simply had the wind knocked out of him, rather than broken ribs. He'll be sore Sunday, though.

Lightning's Brayden Point: Lights lamp twice in Game 1 win
Point potted two power-play goals in Tuesday's 7-3 Game 1 win over the Maple Leafs.
Point scored twice in his final appearance of the regular season to top the 50-goal mark, and he added another two goals in the postseason opener. His first tally gave the Lightning a 4-2 lead and later proved to be the game-winner, then his second beat the second-period buzzer at the 19:58 mark and chased Ilya Samsonov.

Lightning's Brayden Point: Tops 50-goal mark for first time
Point scored twice, including his 50th of the season, and added an assist in Thursday's 5-0 win over the Red Wings.
Point is the third player in Bolts history to score at least 50 goals in a season, joining Steven Stamkos (51 in 2009-10; 60 in 2011-12) and Vincent Lecavalier (52 in 2006-07). He finishes the season with 51 goals and 95 points, both career highs, and he heads into the postseason on a four-game, six-point scoring streak (three goals, three assists). Point joins Connor McDavid, David Pastrnak, Mikko Rantanen and Leon Draisaitl as the only NHLers to score at least 50 goals this season.

Lightning's Brayden Point: Within one point of career mark
Point scored his 49th goal of the season in a 7-4 loss to the Senators.
He pulled the Bolts within 5-4 at 6:01 of the third on a close-range snipe off a backdoor pass by Victor Hedman. Point is now one point from equalling his career point mark (92). His 49 goals are a career high water mark.

Those 48 goals push him into a tie with Mikko Rantanen for third in the NHL.

Point put the Bolts up 1-0 in the second when he stuffed in his own rebound from the slot. His second goal came from the high slot with one minute left in the game. Point is on a three-game, six-point streak that includes four goals and two assists. Overall, his 43 goals move him into third overall in the NHL, behind only Connor McDavid (55) and David Pastrnak (45).

Point had one shot in 18:40 of ice time in Sunday's 6-0 loss to Carolina.
Coach Jon Cooper had benched Point, Steven Stamkos and Nikita Kucherov for the third period of Saturday's loss to Buffalo because they weren't performing well enough to give the team the best chance to win. While they were back in action Sunday, none of them could get rolling because of a parade to the penalty box. The Bolts are on a five-game losing streak heading into a four-game week, and Point will be key to breaking the skid.

Point extended his goal streak when he tied it 2-2 on a power play at 9:39 of the second frame after he jammed in a rebound off a shot from Mikhail Sergachev. Point has 12 points (six goals, six assists) during his six-game goal streak. And he's closing in on his career mark of 41 goals with 38 on the season. This guy is golden.

He spoiled Sergei Bobrovsky's shutout bid midway through the second period by tapping home a slick feed from Steven Stamkos, but it was just about the only bright spot on the night for the Bolts. Point has found the back of the net in five straight games, and over his last 14 contests he's piled up 10 tallies and 21 points. The 26-year-old has already reached 70 points on the season, and he sits just three goals short of his second career 40-goal campaign.
