Eagles' Davion Taylor: Won't return this season
Taylor (knee) won't be activated from injured reserve for the final week of the regular season or the playoffs, Mike Kaye of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.
Taylor landed on the shelf in late November after undergoing knee surgery and was believed to have a chance of retaking the field this season, but he won't end up returning for the Eagles. The 2020 third-round pick finishes the campaign with 41 tackles (24 solo) and two forced fumbles in nine games, and he should have enough recovery time to be ready for training camp.

Eagles' Davion Taylor: Could return this season
Coach Nick Sirianni said Wednesday that Taylor (knee) has undergone surgery but could still return this season, Jeff McLane of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Sirianni said there's a chance the Eagles get Taylor back this season, but it doesn't look like such an event is guaranteed. In any case, Taylor will need to miss a minimum of three games now that he's been placed on IR, so his earliest chance to return would be Dec. 26 against the Giants.
