Browns' Cedric Tillman: Career-best numbers in loss
Tillman caught four of five targets for 55 yards in Sunday's 29-12 loss to the Broncos.
The 2023 third-round pick hauled in more catches for more yardage than he had in his first seven NFL games combined, but all of his production came in the first half with fellow rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson under center. Thompson-Robinson left the game in the third quarter with a concussion, and the lone pass Tillman saw from PJ Walker afterward fell incomplete. Even if Thompson-Robinson is able to clear the league's protocol and suit up in Week 13 against the Rams, Tillman has yet to show enough consistency to be anything more than a deep-league dart throw for fantasy purposes. The chemistry the duo showed in the first half Sunday was encouraging, however.

Browns' Cedric Tillman: Ten combined yards in win
Tillman caught one of two targets for two yards and had one carry for eight yards in Sunday's 13-10 win over Pittsburgh.
Tillman continued to see ample time on the field -- this was his second consecutive week with 66 snaps -- but his impact has been limited. Sunday's two touches and 10 combined yards were seasons highs for the rookie, and the switch from Deshaun Watson (shoulder) to rookie Dorian Thompson-Robinson under center likely won't make much of a difference for Tillman.

Browns' Cedric Tillman: Three targets in win
Tillman did not catch any of his three targets in Sunday's 33-31 win over the Ravens.
For a second consecutive week, the rookie was a top-three wideout in terms of snaps (66, 85 percent), as Marquise Goodwin (concussion) and David Bell (knee) were unavailable. Tillman's played a combined 120 snaps the last two games but has just four targets and one catch to show for it.

Browns' Cedric Tillman: Season-high snap count
Tillman caught his lone target for three yards in Sunday's 27-0 win over Arizona in Week 9.
The 2023 third-round pick was the main beneficiary of the Donovan Peoples-Jones trade, as well as an injury absence for David Bell (knee). Tillman played a season-high 54 snaps, bettering his previous high of 14, but much like Peoples-Jones, the usage didn't translate into much volume. Marquise Goodwin, also in the mix for more run as a deep threat for the Browns, saw only eight snaps before leaving the game in the third quarter with a concussion.

Browns' Cedric Tillman: Moves up depth chart again
Tillman is expected to be among the top four wideouts Sunday, with David Bell (knee) ruled out for the Week 9 matchup against the Cardinals.
Tillman, who has not been active the last three games, moved up the ladder twice this week. First, it was Donovan Peoples-Jones being traded to the Lions, then it was Bell's status for Week 9. It's an ideal week for Tillman, as the return of quarterback Deshaun Watson signals a more productive passing game. Marquise Goodwin is also expected to play a greater role and likely to get most of the snaps that had gone to Peoples-Jones in previous games.

Browns' Cedric Tillman: Could replace Peoples-Jones
Tillman will likely serve as the primary replacement for Donovan Peoples-Jones, whom the Browns traded to the Lions on Tuesday, Terry Pluto of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Tillman, a rookie third-round pick out of Tennessee, has been inactive the last three games and was a healthy scratch on two of those occasions. When he was active for the Browns' first four games of the season, Tillman averaged 11 snaps per contest and was targeted a total of three times. The Browns' decision to move Peoples-Jones doesn't come out of nowhere; he was in the final year of his contract and seemingly fell out of favor as a priority in Cleveland's passing game. The trade may not immediately mean much for Tillman as a fantasy asset, but he could be active going forward and may be an injury away from capturing a more significant role.

Browns' Cedric Tillman: Healthy inactive
Tillman (coach's decision) is a healthy inactive for Sunday's matchup with the Colts.
Tillman missed last week's game due to a hip injury. While he was again listed as questionable due to the issue, it looks like he is healthy, but the pass catcher will simply be held out as a coach's decision.

Browns' Cedric Tillman: Back from hip injury
Tillman (hip) was a full participant in practice Wednesday, Scott Petrak of The Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Tillman sat out this past Sunday's upset win over San Francisco after being a late addition to the injury report, but the 2023 third-round draft pick has seemingly put the hip issue behind him. Barring a setback, Tillman should suit up Sunday against the Colts.

Browns' Cedric Tillman: Won't suit up vs. 49ers
Tillman (hip) is listed as out for Sunday's game versus San Francisco, Kelsey Russo of the Browns' official site reports.
Tillman will sit out in Week 6 after first being added to the injury report Thursday. Marquise Goodwin could see an uptick in snaps on the boundary Sunday in Tillman's absence.

Browns' Cedric Tillman: Doesn't practice Thursday
Tillman (hip) didn't practice Thursday, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
The rookie was added to the injury report Thursday. Tillman caught his first NFL pass in the Browns' Week 4 loss to the Ravens, gaining five yards. He's buried on the Browns' wideout depth chart and has minimal fantasy value outside of dynasty formats.

Browns' Cedric Tillman: Makes first NFL catch in loss
Tillman caught one of three targets for five yards in Sunday's 28-3 loss to the Ravens in Week 4.
Tillman was targeted for the first time this season and made his first NFL grab. All the targets came on the Browns' final possession, including two in the red zone. The rookie remains buried on the WR depth chart and has played only 44 snaps through four weeks, but as he grows more comfortable with the scheme, his role in the passing game could increase coming out of the team's Week 5 bye.

Browns' Cedric Tillman: No targets again
Tillman played 11 snaps and wasn't targeted in Sunday's 27-3 win over the Titans in Week 3.
That made three consecutive weeks without a target for Tillman, who has averaged 10 snaps per game. He sits on the second tier of Cleveland's wideout depth chart along with David Bell (four targets, 31 snaps) and Marquise Goodwin (four targets, 30 snaps).

Browns' Cedric Tillman: Untargeted in loss
Tillman played nine snaps and was not targeted in Monday's 26-22 loss to Pittsburgh.
For the second consecutive week, Tillman saw minimal time on the field and went untargeted. His 19 snaps through two weeks are the fewest among Cleveland's six wideouts.

Browns' Cedric Tillman: No targets in debut
Tillman played 11 snaps and was not targeted in Sunday's 24-3 win over the Bengals in Week 1.
Tillman, who was selected in the third round of the 2023 draft, made his NFL debut Sunday. He was part of the second tier of wideouts, along with Marquise Goodwin (10 snaps) and David Bell (10), none of whom made much impact on a rainy day in Cleveland.
