Rams' Poona Ford: Shifting cities
Ford is in line to sign a three-year, $30 million contract with the Rams, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Ford has been working under a one-year contract each of the past three seasons, but his efforts in 2024 have earned him a longer-term deal. The Texas product finished last season with 39 combined tackles, including tying a career high with 3.0 sacks, and a career-high five passes defended, including his first career interception.

Chargers' Poona Ford: Finishes 2024 with 3.0 sacks
Ford played in all 17 regular-season games in 2024 and finished with 39 tackles (24 solo), including 3.0 sacks, and five pass defenses (including one interception).
Ford signed a one-year, $1.79 million contract with the Chargers in March of 2024 after playing for the Bills in 2023. Ford matched a career high in sacks from 2022 as a member of the Seahawks, and he logged his first-career interception in Week 1 against the Raiders. Ford will enter the offseason as an unrestricted free agent and should garner plenty of interest from teams looking to solidify their defensive fronts for the 2025 campaign.

Chargers' Poona Ford: Lands with Chargers
The Chargers signed Ford to a one-year contract Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
After spending his first five seasons with the Seahawks, Ford settled for a one-year deal from the Bills last offseason and registered just nine tackles (five solo) across eight games and 151 defensive snaps for Buffalo. Ford will look to get his career back on track on another one-year pact, this time in Los Angeles for new coach Jim Harbaugh.
