Matt Landers: Gets practice squad chance
Landers agreed to join Seattle's practice squad Wednesday, John Boyle of the team's official website reports.
Landers was attempting to make the team as an undrafted free agent, so he was facing an uphill climb. While he failed to make it through final cuts, the rookie will get a chance to turn some heads during practice going forward. He recorded 907 yards and eight touchdowns on 47 receptions during his final collegiate season at Arkansas.

Landers (quadriceps) didn't practice Thursday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
Undrafted out of Arkansas this year, Landers signed with the Seahawks and caught a 30-yard touchdown in last weekend's preseason opener. He needs to get healthy quickly if he's going to push for a spot on the practice squad.

Matt Landers: Going to Seattle
Landers is expected to sign with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Landers took advantage of an extra year of eligibility due to Covid rules to transfer from Toledo to Arkansas in 2022. In his one year as a starter for Arkansas, Landers led the team with 907 receiving yards on 47 catches while adding eight touchdowns. Landers has legitimate upside with his vertical speed and catch radius, but concerns over his run blocking, special teams inexperience and age (he turns 24 in June) could limit his NFL projection.
