Bryan Edwards: Let go by Kansas City
The Chiefs cut Edwards from their practice squad Wednesday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Edwards started the campaign with the Falcons but struggled to find a role and eventually landed a practice-squad deal with the Chiefs at the end of November. He was never elevated to Kansas City's active roster and will now be a free agent heading into the final week of the regular season. The 2020 third-round pick caught 34 of 59 passes for 571 yards and three touchdowns across 16 appearances with the Raiders in 2021, but his time in the NFL may be limited after a tumultuous 2022 campaign.

Bryan Edwards: Latches on with KC
The Chiefs signed Edwards to their practice squad Monday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Edwards began the season with Atlanta before he was waived last Thursday. The Raiders drafted the wideout out of South Carolina in the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft, and he enjoyed moderate success in 2021 with 34 catches for 571 yards and three touchdowns over 16 games. Kansas City is dealing with some injuries to its pass-catching corps with Mecole Hardman (abdomen) on IR and Kadarius Toney dealing with a hamstring injury, but it's uncertain whether Edwards will be able to earn an elevation to the active roster.

Bryan Edwards: Let go Thursday
Edwards was waived by the Falcons on Thursday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Edwards was unable to make his mark with the Falcons, finding himself as a healthy inactive multiple times this season. His time in Atlanta will end with Edwards having brought in three of five targets for 15 yards across seven games. He'll now work to find a new opportunity elsewhere.
