Patriots' Jabrill Peppers: Staying in New England
Peppers (ankle) is set to re-sign with the Patriots on a two-year deal, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
After spending his first five seasons with the Browns and Giants, Peppers found a new home in New England this past year. He was a reliable member of the team as a depth safety and core special teamer. The 27-year-old suited up for all 17 games and recorded 49 tackles (26 solo). Barring any more moves in free agency and the draft, he projects to start at free safety entering the 2023 season.

Patriots' Jabrill Peppers: Questionable to return
Peppers is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Bills with an ankle injury.
Peppers sustained an ankle injury on Buffalo's second kickoff return of the first quarter, according to Zack Cox of NESN.com. The 27-year-old has been a fixture on special teams while also playing a consistent rotational role in New England's secondary this season. With Peppers sidelined for the time being, expect Adrian Phillips to play an increased role alongside starting safeties Kyle Dugger and Devin McCourty.

The 27-year-old has seen consistent usage as the third safety in the Patriots' secondary, though he saw increased run alongside Adrian Phillips and Devin McCourty with Kyle Dugger (ankle) out. Peppers has now totaled 28 tackles (18 solo) and a fumble recovery while playing 183 of his 290 total snaps on defense this season.

Patriots' Jabrill Peppers: Comes off PUP list
Peppers (knee) is practicing Monday, indicating that he has been removed from the active/PUP list, ESPN's Mike Reiss reports.
Peppers is recovering from ACL surgery, so taking the filed in practice is a major step in the right direction for the safety. He should provide depth in New England's secondary, but Peppers is unlikely to unseat starters Kyle Dugger or Devin McCourty.
