McNary signed a contract with the Jaguars on Thursday.
McNary spent the last four seasons with the Colts, playing in 49 games and recording 79 combined tackles. He posted a team-high nine special teams tackles in 2016, and should fill a similar special teams role with the Jaguars while providing depth for the team's linebacker corps.

McNary (shoulder) had five total tackles and played 35 snaps on defense in Sunday's loss at Houston.
McNary got the starting snaps at inside linebacker opposite D'Qwell Jackson, but he came out on nickel and dime packages with Jackson staying in (he played all 71 snaps). Still, it looks like McNary will get the vast majority of playing time opposite Jackson over Antonio Morrison after the release of Sio Moore.

McNary left Sunday's game with what was described as a neck injury and didn't return. His return to practice suggests the injury is minor and he'll be able to play this week. He started at inside linebacker with the release of Sio Moore and would likely start again this week if healthy. However, he may split playing time with Antonio Morrison.

A reserve inside linebacker, McNary hasn't seen much of the field since Jerrell Freeman returned from an injury in Week 15. McNary finishes his season with 14 tackles in 13 appearances, after registering 28 takedowns in 15 games last season. His contract runs through 2016, but there's a good chance he'll have to compete for a roster spot next year.
