Falcons' Germain Ifedi: Returning to Atlanta
The Falcons re-signed Ifedi to a one-year deal Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Ifedi will remain in Atlanta, where he played just six snaps despite being active for all 17 games last season. The 2016 first-round pick is expected to fill a similar depth role at offensive tackle during the upcoming season.

Falcons' Germain Ifedi: Signs one-year deal with Atlanta
Ifedi signed a one-year contract with Atlanta on Wednesday, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.
Ifedi started all 16 games for Chicago in 2020 -- six at right tackle and 10 at right guard -- but he suffered a knee injury in Week 5 last season and wasn't activated until late December. The versatile 27-year-old figures to provide depth to Atlanta's offensive line during the 2022 campaign.

Bears' Germain Ifedi: Returns to active roster
Ifedi (knee) was activated from injured reserve Monday, Colleen Kane of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Ifedi was designated to return from IR on Thursday after missing the Bears' last eight games. With Larry Borom on the reserve/COVID-19 list and Jason Peters (ankle) out Monday against the Vikings, Ifedi will likely start at right tackle.

Ifedi has missed the last eight games with a knee injury, but he'll have a chance to return Monday against the Vikings. Larry Borom and Elijah Wilkinson are both on the reserve/COVID-19 list, so Ifedi would likely play a key role on the offensive line if he's cleared to return this week.
