The Texans released Moore (hamstring) on Thursday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Moore struggled to take the field during the preseason due to a hamstring issue and the team has decided to release him as a result of his unavailability. The veteran could land on another roster, but he's unlikely to make a huge statistical impact defensively in 2017.

Texans' Sio Moore: Signs contract Friday
The Texans signed Moore on Friday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Since he was selected in the third round of the 2017 draft, Moore has hopscotched through the league, logging time with four different organizations. Last year included the Colts, Chiefs and Cardinals, with whom he totaled 65 tackles (50 solo), two forced fumbles and one pass defended across eight games (seven starts). With Brian Cushing (undisclosed) and Benardrick McKinney embedded as the starting ILBs in Houston, Moore will likely be contained to special-teams duty if he lands a gig by Week 1. However, Moore has shown the ability to rack up tackles when given the opportunity.

Cardinals' Sio Moore: Active in Week 17
Moore (ankle) is listed as active Sunday at Los Angeles, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Moore has been a revelation since taking over for Deone Bucannon at dollar linebacker in Week 15, racking up 25 tackles (16 solo) and a pass defended over the past two games. If his ankle injury afflicts Moore at all, though, he may yield snaps to Zaviar Gooden at ILB.

Moore was released by the Chiefs on Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Moore was released alongside fellow linebacker Sam Barrington as the Chiefs made a series of moves Tuesday. Moore has now been cut by two separate teams so far this season and failed to record a single stat during his stint with the Chiefs. He'll now look to find his way onto yet another roster looking to bolster their linebacker corps.

Chiefs' Sio Moore: Signed by Chiefs
Moore has signed with the Chiefs.
Moore's signing comes as Kansas City has decided to release fellow linebacker Dezman Moses. After spending his first two seasons with the Raiders, Moore is familiar with the AFC West, but was jettisoned by the Colts earlier this week after recording 25 tackles through their first four games. That release followed a trade of the former third-round pick after his first two seasons in Oakland, so he'll hope for a more prolonged stay with the Chiefs, even though their outside linebacker depth doesn't make that seem very likely.

Sio Moore: Released by Colts on Tuesday
Moore was released by the Colts on Tuesday, Zak Keefer of the Indianapolis Star reports.
Moore started each of the first four games, recording 25 tackles (20) without any sacks or takeaways. His snap count dropped to a season-low 27 in Sunday's loss to Jacksonville, suggesting the Colts were displeased with his work long before he was released. Selected in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft by Oakland, the 26-year-old Moore will now search for a third NFL team. He hasn't lived up to the promise he showed in 2013 and 2014 with the Raiders.
