The 2014 seventh-round pick had a tough time staying healthy in Baltimore, playing just 24 games in four seasons with the Ravens. He joined the Titans this offseason as a depth receiver and potential return man, but Rishard Matthews' continued absence with an undisclosed injury could give Campanaro an opportunity to earn a regular job as the slot receiver in three-wide formations. Taywan Taylor has been filling in as the regular starting wideout across from Corey Davis, while Campanaro, Tajae Sharpe and Darius Jennings have all mixed in with the first unit.

Campanaro appeared in a career-best 13 games with the Ravens last season, though his 263 offensive snaps amounted to just 19 catches on 27 targets for 173 yards and a touchdown. He also served as a returner on both punts and kicks last season and will likely compete with Adoree Jackson for those spots on his new team in 2018.

Campanaro was limited by an array of injuries during his four seasons in Baltimore, but he finally managed to play more than four games in 2017, catching 19 of 27 targets for 173 yards and a touchdown while adding 27 punt returns for 291 yards and another score in 13 appearances. He might get a chance to push Taywan Taylor for slot work on offense, but special teams represents the more likely path to a meaningful role. It's surprising the Ravens weren't willing to top this contract, considering they don't have much in the way of wideout depth or potential return specialists.

Campanaro finds a new home in Nashville after spending the first four seasons of his career with the Ravens. Although he has never played a major offensive role, the former seventh-round pick has established himself in the return game. If he signs with the Titans, Campanaro likely would compete with 2017 third-round pick Taywan Taylor for a role in the slot, providing veteran insurance for a team that doesn't seem to have any interest in re-signing Eric Decker. The 2014 seventh-round pick was hampered by hip, knee, leg and ankle injuries throughout his four seasons in Baltimore, catching 31 of 43 targets for 310 yards and two touchdowns in only 24 games. Campanaro finally stayed healthy for the better part of a season in 2017, catching 19 passes in 13 games while also serving as the Ravens' primary punt returner (10.3 average and a touchdown on 27 returns). Adoree' Jackson handled the role in Tennessee last season, returning 34 punts for 290 yards without a touchdown.

Campanaro appeared in 13 games in 2017, hauling in 19 of 27 targets for 173 yards and a score while adding one punt return for a touchdown.
The Wake Forest product was dinged up at different points of the year, including a shoulder injury that sidelined him two games, but this was still Campanaro's most productive professional season. He had never played more than four games in any of his previous three seasons and had never seen more than seven total touches from scrimmage. Injuries and poor performance from other receivers opened the door for Campanaro to fill the larger role after having been relegated to being a gadget player in the past. The Ravens could be losing some of their top veteran receivers this offseason, but Campanaro is hitting free agency in his own right. Baltimore's familiarity with Campanaro makes it feasible to see the team bringing him back on the cheap, but the Ravens will likely be adding new starting receivers externally as well.
