  • Titans' David King: Appears in third preseason game

King logged 26 defensive snaps during Saturday's preseason game against the Steelers.

While he didn't make an appearance in the stat sheet, King's mere presence is significant after the defensive end missed a sizable portion of practice this month with an undisclosed injury.

  • Titans' David King: Not practicing

King has not participated in practice since the team's preseason opener against the Packers due to an undisclosed injury, Erik Bacharach of The Tennessean reports.

  • Titans' David King: Re-ups with Tennessee

King signed a one-year extension with the Titans on Wednesday, Jason Wolf of the Tennessean reports.

King, who the Titans traded for last September in exchange for a conditional draft pick, recorded three tackles and one sack over seven games in 2017 while operating as a rotational defensive lineman. He'll likely remain in a low-volume role in 2018 and, as such, isn't worth any consideration in IDP formats.

  • Titans' David King: Could see expanded role

Coach Mike Mularkey said Monday that he expects King to step up in the absence of DaQuan Jones (bicep), Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.

Jones was placed on injured reserve after suffering a torn bicep in Sunday's win over the Texans, and while Austin Johnson was the main beneficiary with a season-best six tackles and one sack, King could begin to see additional snaps himself. The 27-year-old hasn't taken the field since the Oct. 16 game against the Colts and has recorded just one tackle this season.

  • Titans' David King: Traded to Titans

The Chiefs traded King to the Titans in exchange for a conditional 2018 seventh-round draft pick, Terry McCormick of 102.5 The Game reports.

King would likely have been waived by the Chiefs anyway, and the Titans likely won't lose anything if King doesn't make the team, so this move makes sense for both sides.

  • Chiefs' David King: Waived by Chiefs

King was waived by the Chiefs on Friday.
