Denver Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas made it clear this week that he wasn't going to be joining Peyton Manning at Duke for the quarterback's annual offseason workouts, so it was a little confusing on Thursday when two pictures surfaced on the Internet that showed Thomas at the workouts.

The tweet below from Emmanuel Sanders raised a lot of questions. 

Did Peyton call Thomas and offer him a free year of Papa John's to show up at Duke?

Did someone promise Thomas free Final Four tickets if he showed up and caught three passes from Manning?

Or did Thomas not show up at all and Sanders just photoshopped him into the picture?

As it turns out, choice three is the right one. Owen Daniels, Cody Latimer, Andre Caldwell and Virgil Green were all there for real with Peyton Manning, but that's not actually Demaryius Thomas. That's Thomas' head photoshopped onto Kenny Anunike's body.

Here's what the picture looks like with Anunike in it, instead of Thomas.

If anyone was confused about the whole thing, they weren't confused by the time the day was over because Sanders tweeted out another picture of Thomas, only this time, Thomas' skin tone didn't exactly match his body.
