If MLB Rolando McClain, who was sentenced to 180 days in jail on Thursday and fined $2,000 by a municipal court judge in Decatur, Ala., misses part or all of the upcoming season, then Travis Goethel will likely get the first crack at replacing him in the starting lineup. Goethel, who missed last season with a knee injury, worked with the first team this week during OTAs. Rookie LB Nathan Stupar, a seventh-round pick from Penn State, is also working inside. McClain was found guilty on all charges stemming from an altercation in November.
