The Colts selected linebacker Jonathan Newsome from Ball State with the 166th pick in the draft Saturday.
Newsome has 64 tackles and eight sacks as a senior for Ball State, and finished his two-year career with 16 1/2 sacks, finishing third in the MAC both seasons.
