The Jets know if they want to win on Sunday they have to do one thing: stop Dolphins RB Reggie Bush. Although, as coach Rex Ryan acknowledged on Thursday, stopping him may be a reach.

"I don't know if you can stop him, but you need to contain him," Ryan said.

While giving a nod of approval to the job that Dolphins rookie QB Ryan Tannehill has done this season, Ryan said of Bush, "In my opinion, he's Miami's No. 1 weapon."

Watching tape of other teams who have faced the Dolphins, Ryan has seen that he's not alone in his respect for Bush. He said the Rams put nine players up front on defense in an attempt to stop him -- or at least slow him down.

The Jets' run defense has improved dramatically over the last couple of weeks, moving from 28th to ninth overall in the NFL. However, with LB Calvin Pace dealing with a shin injury and LB Bart Scott still battling a toe injury that could finally sideline him on Sunday, the Jets will have to come up with some creative schemes to hold Bush back.
