Safety Ross Ventrone (hamstring) has been added to the list of Steelers who have been ruled out for the Sunday game against the host Jets. He was limited in the last two practices.
Already deemed out were fellow safeties Shamarko Thomas (hamstring), Troy Polamalu (knee), linebacker Ryan Shazier (ankle) and cornerback Ike Taylor (forearm).
The injury-related probables are linebacker Jason Worilds (abdomen) and wideout Darrius Heyward-Bey (hamstring).
