Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano said earlier in the week that wide receiver Austin Collie was a "full go" for Sunday at Chicago, but Collie himself announced Thursday that he was "day to day."

"We’re just going to continue to see how I feel," Collie said. "I don’t want to make a definite statement of 'yes I am playing on Sunday, no I’m not playing on Sunday' because we still have time. I want to see how things go (Thursday). I want to see how things go tomorrow and we’ll go from there.”

Collie has suffered three concussions in less than two years, so careful consideration was done by Collie, his family and the Colts' medical staff to come to the conclusion that Collie would return to the field.

"That’s really the only opinion outside of my family that I care about, is what the doctors say," Collie said. "As of right now, we’re moving forward. Again it’s just a day-by-day thing. There is no definite time table so right now we are just taking it day-by-day and the first step was to get back out there and practice again and that’s what I’m doing and I feel good.”

If Collie doesn't go Sunday, that would be a blow to the receiving corps that already has to deal with a limited T.Y. Hilton. The most likely scenario -- if Collie is out -- would be increased targets for Donnie Avery and rookie LaVon Brazill. Veteran Reggie Wayne, of course, will still be the No. 1 receiver.
