The Browns officially released seven players, the team announced Friday.
The following players cut on Friday include: offensive lineman Braxston Cave, tight end Dan Gronkowski, wide receiver Mike Edwards, defensive back Abdul Kanneh, running back Miguel Maysonet, defensive back Kent Richardson and kicker Colton Schmidt.
The Browns currently have 68 players on the roster and will need to trim down to 53 by 6 p.m. ET on Saturday.
