The Falcons secondary suffered a bad blow in Week 1 when Pro Bowl cornerback Brent Grimes was lost for the season because of a torn Achilles.

Though they avoided the possible loss of the team's second-best cornerback -- Asante Samuel was questionable to return to the game with a neck injury in the first quarter but came back the next series -- the Falcons are down to four cornerbacks after losing nickle corner Chris Owens to a head injury.

A few plays after Samuel went out, the Falcons intercepted Manning for the third time -- this time by Robert McClain, who replaced Samuel. But soon after that, Owens left for the locker room and hasn't returned.

Along with Samuel, McClain and Dunta Robinson, the Falcons have suited up Dominique Franks at the cornerback spot.
