Nuggets' Christian Braun: Another impactful performance
Braun provided seven points (2-4 FG, 3-6 FT), three rebounds, one assist and one block across 24 minutes during Monday's 94-89 win over the Heat in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.
Braun provided timely, impactful performances on a few occasions during Denver's postseason run, but he was never overly prolific as a reserve. Across 19 playoff appearances, he averaged 3.2 points and 2.1 rebounds in 12.9 minutes per game. Despite the lack of production, the rookie is certainly coveted by Denver and figures to see an expanded role in Year 2 and beyond.

Nuggets' Christian Braun: Steps up in Game 3 win
Braun finished with 15 points (7-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), four rebounds, one assist and one steal across 19 minutes Wednesday in the Nuggets' 109-94 win over the Heat in Game 3 of the NBA Finals.
Nikola Jokic (32 points, 21 rebounds, 10 assists) and Jamal Murray (34 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds) did the heavy lifting for Denver on Wednesday, but Braun's contributions off the bench were essential while starters Michael Porter, Aaron Gordon and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope combined to go 7-for-21 from the field. Braun's own shooting performance looks like a major outlier -- he converted at a 49.5 percent clip from the field during the regular season -- but he may have earned himself a longer leash in head coach Michael Malone's rotation heading into Friday's Game 4 in any case.

Nuggets' Christian Braun: Posts quiet stat line in Game 1 win
Braun posted one point (0-4 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, one assist and four steals in 14 minutes during Saturday's 125-107 win over the Suns in Game 1 of the Western Conference Semifinals.
These are not garbage-time numbers. Despite Braun's inability to contribute offensively, his ballhawking and energy generated numerous turnovers throughout the game for Denver. The rookie has averaged 12.8 minutes per contest thus far in the playoffs.
