Thunder's Luguentz Dort: Explodes for season-high 27 points
Dort finished with 27 points (8-14 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 7-8 FT), five rebounds, one assist and one block in 36 minutes during Wednesday's 123-118 Play-In Tournament win over the Pelicans.
Dort made good on his skills as a streaky scorer and all-around contributor in the do-or-die win, converting four key three-pointers in pivotal moments. Dort averaged only 13.7 points per game this season, but if he can replicate this performance alongside solid results from Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Josh Giddey, the Thunder will have an excellent chance to advance.... Thunder's Luguentz Dort: Set to play Wednesday
Dort (rest) isn't listed on the Thunder's injury report for Wednesday's game against the Pelicans.
Dort took a seat for Sunday's regular-season finale due to rest purposes, but as expected, he'll be available for the Thunder's Play-In Tournament matchup versus New Orleans. Across 74 regular-season appearances (73 starts), the fourth-year wing averaged 13.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.0 steals in 30.7 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less
Thunder's Luguentz Dort: Out Sunday
Dort will not play in Sunday's regular-season finale against the Grizzlies for rest purposes, Brandon Rahbar of DailyThunder.com reports.

Thunder's Luguentz Dort: Cleared for action
Dort (shoulder) is available for Thursday's game versus Utah.
Dort has been upgraded from questionable to available and will suit up for a 27th straight game. Over his past five appearances, the fourth-year wing has averaged 15.8 points, 6.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.2 steals in 36.6 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less
Thunder's Luguentz Dort: Questionable for Thursday
Dort is questionable for Thursday's matchup against Utah due to a right shoulder strain.
Dort is in danger of missing his first game since Feb. 7. If that's the case, there should be plenty of minutes available for Lindy Waters, Aaron Wiggins and Isaiah Joe.... See More ... See Less
Thunder's Luguentz Dort: Posts 20 points, three steals
Dort ended with 20 points (7-15 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 3-5 FT), six rebounds, one assist and three steals in 38 minutes during Wednesday's 107-106 win over the Pistons.
It wasn't the best start for Dort on the offensive end as the forward shot just 37.5 percent from the floor in the first half, though he did add four rebounds and a game-high three steals. He found his stroke in the second half, knocking down four of seven field-goal attempts for another 11 points to notch his third 20-point game this month. Dort has also collected at least six rebounds in six straight.... See More ... See Less
Thunder's Luguentz Dort: Excels at charity stripe in win
Dort finished with 16 points (4-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 7-8 FT), seven rebounds, two assists and one steal over 33 minutes in Tuesday's 137-134 loss to the Hornets.
Though the Thunder were without All-Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (ankle) on Tuesday, Dort didn't take on any notable spike in usage. Instead, the trio of Josh Giddey, Jalen Williams and Isaiah Joe all cleared 25 percent usage and reached the 30-point mark, but Dort was still able to see enough volume to finish in double figures in the scoring column. The production at the charity stripe was a welcome sight from Dort, who had attempted just nine total free throws over his previous seven contests.... See More ... See Less
Thunder's Luguentz Dort: Inefficient in loss
Dort produced three points (1-11 FG, 1-4 3Pt), six rebounds, two assists and two steals across 30 minutes during Thursday's 127-105 loss to the Clippers.
Dort has been cold from the floor this week, as he's converted on just 18.2 percent of his field-goal attempts over the last two matchups. While he's remained productive on the boards, it's been a discouraging stretch for the 23-year-old, who has scored in double figures in just seven of his 12 appearances this month. During that time, he's averaged 12.6 points and 4.6 rebounds in 32.7 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less
Thunder's Luguentz Dort: Pops for 20 in win
Dort accumulated 20 points (7-11 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and one assist across 33 minutes during Sunday's 124-120 victory over the Suns.
The fourth-year forward remains streaky, but he appears to be heating up at the right time. Dort has scored in double digits in four straight games after failing to top eight points in three of the prior four, averaging 16.5 points, 6.0 boards and 2.3 assists during the upswing while going 12-for-28 (42.9 percent) from three-point range. With the Thunder pushing to get out of the play-in tournament and lock up a playoff spot, they could use some consistency from Dort down the stretch.... See More ... See Less
Thunder's Luguentz Dort: Reaches 20-point threshold
Dort ended with 24 points (9-16 FG, 6-11 3Pt), nine rebounds, one assist and one steal in 35 minutes during Tuesday's 121-107 victory over the Nets.
Dort was much improved on the offensive end in this one after hitting only 30.0 percent of his tries in Oklahoma City's last matchup Sunday against the Spurs. He turned in his best scoring performance since Dec. 17, when he poured in 24 points against Memphis and nearly collected a double-double by snagging six of his nine rebounds on the defensive end. Dort is averaging 13.9 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.3 steals through eight March appearances.... See More ... See Less
Thunder's Luguentz Dort: Poor shooting once again
Dort recorded eight points (2-8 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, five assists and two steals in 38 minutes during Saturday's 110-96 win over the Pelicans.
Dort struggled from the field for the second game in a row, and those shooting woes have been a recurring issue for the four-year veteran. Over his last 10 games, he's averaging just 13.2 points per game while shooting a meager 33.3 percent from the field. Dort has also scored in single digits in three of his last four contests.... Thunder's Luguentz Dort: Struggles against Suns
Dort finished with seven points (2-9 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT) in 20 minutes during Wednesday's 132-101 loss to Phoenix.
Dort has scored fewer than 10 points in two of his last three games. While he is averaging 13.9 points, 4.9 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 30.5 minutes over his last 10 appearances, his 35.4 field-goal percentage and 25.8 three-point percentage over that span tank much of his value in roto leagues.... Thunder's Luguentz Dort: Posts 18 points, eight boards
Dort closed with 18 points (4-11 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 8-8 FT), eight rebounds, one assist and two steals across 36 minutes during Tuesday's 137-128 win over Golden State.
Dort put together a solid first half with eight points on 3-of-8 shooting from the field to go along with five rebounds and a steal. He knocked down just one of three field-goal attempts after the break but went a perfect 8-of-8 at the free-throw line to finish with 18 points on the night. It was Dort's third time in his last four games scoring at least 18 points while he also finished second on the team in rebounds with eight. The Oklahoma City guard will look to continue his steady scoring Wednesday against the Suns, especially with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (rest) expected to sit out for the contest.... See More ... Thunder's Luguentz Dort: Another double-double
Dort ended with 17 points (5-17 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 6-7 FT), 10 rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal in 36 minutes during Friday's 124-115 loss to the Suns.
Dort struggled from the field and finished with an equal number of points and field-goal attempts, but he contributed in other categories and recorded a second straight double-double after his 11-point, 11-rebound outing against the Jazz on Thursday. Dort seems to have recovered his starting role after missing six games in a row between Jan. 27 and Feb. 7, and he's averaging 12.3 points and 6.8 boards per contest in his last four appearances with the first unit.... Thunder's Luguentz Dort: Posts 11 boards in loss
Dort notched 11 points (4-14 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), 11 rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal in 36 minutes during Thursday's 120-119 overtime loss to Utah.
Dort had a terrible night shooting the ball, going 3-of-9 from the field for seven points in the first half before knocking down just one more bucket on five attempts between the second half and overtime. However, he did impress on the glass and grabbed 11 rebounds in the contest, six of which came on the offensive end, to tie Josh Giddey for the team lead. The 11 boards were certainly a nice surprise from Dort, but the guard will need to pick things up on offense as he's now shot below 30 percent from the floor in three of his last six games.... Thunder's Luguentz Dort: Puts up 15 points in win
Dort produced 15 points (5-9 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, three assists and one steal in 24 minutes during Wednesday's 133-96 win over the Rockets.
Dort has started in all but one of his appearances this season and recorded a solid outing in the Thunder's final game before the All-Star break. The former Arizona State standout has been unable to deliver the same numbers he recorded last season, in part due to the emergence of Josh Giddey as a reliable scoring weapon, but he continues to be a decent fantasy asset. He's averaging 14.0 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists and a career-best 1.0 steals per game so far.... See More ... See Less
