Top Jalen Brunson News

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Will be available Sunday

Brunson (quadriceps) will be available Sunday against the Grizzlies.

Brunson presumably picked up the injury in Friday's 132-129 overtime loss to the Trail Blazers, but it seems it wasn't serious enough to keep him from playing. He should handle his regular workload ahead of a tough matchup against Memphis.

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Questionable Sunday

Brunson is considered questionable for Sunday's game against the Grizzlies due to a right quad contusion.

Brunson presumably picked up the injury in Friday's 132-129 overtime loss to the Trail Blazers. His status Sunday will presumably depend on how he is feeling closer to tip-off. If he is ultimatey unable to go, Immanuel Quickley and Quentin Grimes would likely be the prime beneficiaries.

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Strong outing not enough Friday

Brunson provided 32 points (10-22 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 9-9 FT), five rebounds and four assists across 41 minutes during Friday's 132-129 overtime loss to the Trail Blazers.

Brunson reached the 30-point mark for the second year in a row, but unlike what happened Wednesday against the Thunder, his efforts were not enough to carry the team to victory here. In a season where RJ Barrett has been struggling with his shot and Julius Randle has been wildly inconsistent, Brunson has been New York's most consistent player on offense. He's averaging 22.8 points across 13 games this month.

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Paces team in scoring

Brunson amassed 34 points (14-20 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 5-6 FT), nine assists and one steal across 34 minutes during Monday's 129-119 victory over the Thunder.

Brunson turned in his best scoring performance so far this season, doing so with efficient shooting from the field. He also fell just one assist shy of a double-double, marking his highest assist total since Nov. 5 against Boston. Brunson is averaging 24.0 points, 3.2 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 1.2 steals over his last five appearances.

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Leading scorer in win

Brunson posted 25 points (10-20 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, eight assists and three steals over 34 minutes during Tuesday's 118-111 win over the Jazz.

Brunson is amid an excellent November, averaging 21.3 points, 6.8 assists and 3.0 rebounds over eight games this month. He's topped the 20-point mark in all but two of the contests and has established himself as one of the cornerstones of the offense, sitting third in usage rate (24.5 percent) behind just Julius Randle (25.6 percent) and RJ Barrett (24.9 percent). There's little reason to anticipate a sizeable dropoff on his end moving forward.

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Scores 26 with seven dimes

Brunson logged 26 points (8-16 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 8-8 FT), one rebound, seven assists and four steals over 32 minutes during Friday's 121-112 victory over the Pistons.

Brunson had been a significant addition on offense for the Knicks, and he has been performing exceptionally well as one of the team's go-to players when it comes to scoring and playmaking. This was his fifth game with at least 20 points in six outings during the current month, and he has also dished out at least seven dimes in four of his last five contests. Through six games in November, Brunson is averaging 21.3 points, 6.5 assists and 3.3 rebounds per contest.

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Struggles from three

Brunson tallied 14 points (4-14 FG, 1-5 3PT, 5-5 FT), four rebounds and two assists in 31 minutes Wednesday in a loss against the Nets.

Brunson was unremarkable shooting the ball from the field, but he did manage to tack on five points from the charity stripe, where he's hit 10 of his last 10 attempts. The guard had been putting on a clinic in the scoring column heading into Wednesday's matchup having scored 20 or more in four straight, but he took a small step backward in a 112-85 blowout loss.

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Secures first double-double

Brunson totaled 22 points (10-17 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds and 10 assists across 33 minutes during Saturday's 133-118 loss to Boston.

Brunson dished out 10 or more assists for the second time this season, and he also finished with 20 or more points for the third consecutive matchup. He averaged 18.2 points through his first six games of the new campaign, but he would provide an unexpected boost for fantasy managers if he can find a way to pour in 20 points on a consistent basis.

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Plays key role in Friday's win

Brunson amassed 23 points (7-15 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 8-9 FT), six rebounds and seven assists across 36 minutes during Friday's 106-104 victory over the 76ers.

The former Mavericks guard played a pivotal role in New York's tight win, as he drained the decisive free throw in the final seconds to ice the game for good. Brunson has now scored at least 20 points in two straight games and has been an excellent addition to the Knicks, reaching the 20-point mark in 50 percent of his games and averaging 19.0 points, 6.9 assists and 4.0 rebounds per contest.

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Turns in solid shooting line

Brunson racked up 20 points (8-15 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), one rebound, five assists and one block in 31 minutes during Wednesday's 112-99 loss to Atlanta.

Brunson finished with 20 or more points for the third time in seven games this season, and he managed to find his shooting stroke after going a combined 11-for-29 from the field over his last two contests entering Wednesday. The starting point guard has been a strong source of production across the board thus far for fantasy managers and should continue to see plenty of opportunities moving forward.

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Struggles vs. Bucks

Brunson closed with 13 points (3-10 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 6-9 FT), three rebounds, two assists and one steal across 33 minutes during Friday's 119-108 loss to Milwaukee.

Brunson faced the formidable defensive backcourt of Jrue Holiday and Jevon Carter. His 13 points and two assists both marked season lows. However, even with Friday's struggles, the point guard is still playing well in a more prominent role this season. In 34.2 minutes per game, he's averaging 18.6 points, 7.2 assists, 4.2 rebounds and 1.0 steals.
