  • Celtics' Svi Mykhailiuk: Available versus Utah

Mykhailiuk (personal) is available for Tuesday's game against the Jazz.

Mykhailiuk isn't typically a rotation player for the Celtics, but there's a chance he could be involved Tuesday, as Jaylen Brown (back), Kristaps Porzingis (hamstring), and Al Horford (toe) have all ruled out.

  • Celtics' Svi Mykhailiuk: Iffy for Tuesday

Mykhailiuk (personal) is questionable for Tuesday's game against Utah.

Mykhailiuk could miss his second consecutive game Tuesday while tending to a personal matter. If available, he could factor into Boston's end-of-bench rotation due to Jaylen Brown (back), Kristaps Porzingis (hamstring), and Al Horford (toe) all being ruled out for Tuesday.

  • Celtics' Svi Mykhailiuk: Out Monday due to personal matter

Mykhailiuk has been ruled out for Monday's matchup with the Trail Blazers for personal reasons, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports.

Mykhailiuk has not been a regular part of the Celtics' rotation, so his absence shouldn't open up any minutes for other players. His next opportunity to suit up will come Tuesday in Utah.

  • Celtics' Svi Mykhailiuk: Another DNP in win

Mykhailiuk received another DNP-coach's decision in Friday's 133-129 home win over the Wizards.

Friday marks five DNPs over Boston's last six games for Mykhailiuk. The Kansas product remained in Boston over the trade deadline and instead watched Lamar Stevens and Dalano Banton get shipped out last Thursday. Through 52 games with the Celtics, Mykhailiuk has appeared in 22 contests and averaged 7.6 minutes of run per appearance. It will be interesting to see if Mykhailiuk or new teammate Jaden Springer will see more reserve minutes at the wing position. Springer and his defensive prowess appears to have the upper hand.

  • Celtics' Svi Mykhailiuk: Sticks in rotation Saturday

Mykhailiuk recorded six points (2-5 FG, 2-5 3Pt), one rebound, one assist and one steal in eight minutes during Saturday's 115-96 loss to the Clippers.

Mykhailiuk saw action for the second straight game, albeit another blowout. Given he typically struggles to see any minutes, there is no reason to overthink this situation. Managers can safely look past him in all formats.

  • Celtics' Svi Mykhailiuk: Good to go Thursday

Mykhailiuk (heel) is available for Thursday's game versus the Pistons, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports.

Mykhailiuk has been upgraded from probable to available Thursday after missing the last two games with a heel injury. However, the 26-year-old guard is unlikely to receive significant playing time against Detroit.

  • Celtics' Svi Mykhailiuk: Expected to play Thursday

Mykhailiuk (heel) is probable for Thursday's game versus the Pistons, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports.

Mykhailiuk has missed Boston's last two contests with a heel injury but is expected to suit up Thursday. However, Mykhailiuk is averaging just 1.6 points in 7.5 minutes across his 11 appearances for the Celtics this season.

  • Celtics' Svi Mykhailiuk: Ruled out for Monday

Mykhailiuk (heel) will not play in Monday's game against the Lakers.

Mykhailiuk is considered day-to-day with a bruise, but his absence Monday is not likely to affect Boston's rotation. The sharpshooter has averaged 7.5 minutes across 11 appearances this season.

  • Celtics' Svi Mykhailiuk: Questionable Monday

Mykhailiuk (heel) is listed as questionable ahead of Monday's game against the Lakers.

Mykhailiuk was sidelined for Saturday's game due to a left heel contusion and is in danger of missing Monday's game as well. However, his availability shouldn't impact Boston's rotation.

  • Celtics' Svi Mykhailiuk: Downgraded to out

Mykhailiuk (heel) won't play in Saturday's game against the Clippers, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports.

Mykhailiuk was initially given a questionable tag, but he'll end up missing Saturday's tilt. While his role with Boston is minimal, his absence could allow for Sam Hauser to see a few more minutes. Mykhailiuk's next chance to play will come Monday against the Lakers.

  • Celtics' Svi Mykhailiuk: Questionable for Saturday

Mykhailiuk is questionable for Saturday's game against the Clippers with a left heel contusion.

Mykhailiuk is an end-of-rotation player for Boston, as he's averaging 7.5 minutes across 11 appearances. If he gets the green light to play, he may see a handful of minutes, with Boston dealing with a few injuries.

  • Celtics' Svi Mykhailiuk: Rare appearance in win

Mykhailiuk contributed no counting stats in two minutes during Tuesday's 124-97 victory over Chicago.

Mykhailiuk saw two minutes in garbage time, just the eighth time he has cracked the rotation all season. He could have seen even more playing time had this not been an In-Season Tournament game. Nonetheless, his role is unlikely to escalate anytime soon, making him a non-factor in fantasy leagues.

  • Celtics' Svi Mykhailiuk: Rare appearance Monday

Mykhailiuk ended Monday's 121-118 overtime loss to the Hornets with three points (1-2 FG, 1-2 3Pt) and one steal across nine minutes.

Mykhailiuk saw action for just the seventh time this season, continuing his less-than-serviceable campaign. At this point, he is nothing more than a depth piece for the Celtics, used sparingly when the occasion calls for it. Given those times are typically blowouts or when multiple players are injured, there is no reason to consider him a viable fantasy asset.

  • Celtics' Svi Mykhailiuk: Plays five minutes in blowout win

Mykhailiuk ended Monday's 126-107 victory over Washington with three points (1-2 FG, 1-2 3Pt), one assist and one steal over five minutes of run.

Mykhailiuk made his season debut Monday after starting the year with two DNP-Coach's Decisions. This game was over after Boston scored 42 points in the first quarter. The blowout win allowed coach Joe Mazzulla to play all his reserves after going with tight rotations in Boston's first two games. The Celtics hope Mykhailiuk can provide some outside shooting off the bench. But he's stuck behind fellow reserves Sam Hauser, Payton Pritchard, Oshae Brissett and maybe even Lamar Stevens on the depth chart. Expect more DNPs in Mykhailiuk's future.

  • Celtics' Svi Mykhailiuk: Displays shooting ability in loss

Mykhailiuk scored 15 points (5-9 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT) while adding three rebounds and an assist across 26 minutes off the bench in Monday's 114-107 preseason loss to the Knicks.

Mykhailiuk is a threat to dial it up from long range on any given night, and he posted a decent stat line while draining three treys. Mykhailiuk shot a career-best 42.4 percent from three-point range last season and could be a decent option to add shooting off the bench for a Boston team that could use another long-range threat.

  • Celtics' Svi Mykhailiuk: Headed to Boston

The Celtics signed Mykhailiuk to a one-year contract Thursday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.

Mykhailiuk will join his seventh team in the last six seasons in 2023-24. Last season, he averaged 6.9 points, 1.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 14.6 minutes across 32 combined appearances for the Knicks and Hornets. While Mykhailiuk has shown to be a quality three-point shooter at points throughout his career, he is unlikely to receive significant minutes in Boston's guard rotation.

  • Hornets' Svi Mykhailiuk: Continues to produce

Mykhailiuk closed with 17 points (7-14 FG, 3-8 3Pt), five rebounds, seven assists and one steal across 34 minutes during Tuesday's 120-100 loss to the Raptors.

Mykhailiuk has started the last six contests for Charlotte and has totaled 16 or more points in each of the last four, hitting at a 44.4 percent rate from deep over that span while averaging 19.3 points, 6.3 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 2.3 steals-plus-blocks. He will likely finish out the campaign in a starting role, but it's not a stretch that should be viewed as a foreshadowing of things to come in 2023-24.

  • Hornets' Svi Mykhailiuk: Goes for career-high 26 in loss

Mykhailiuk recorded a career-high 26 points (10-17 FG, 5-9 3Pt, 1-1 FT) to go with five assists, four rebounds and two steals across 33 minutes in Sunday's 128-108 loss to the Raptors.

Mykhailiuk continues to get all the playing time he can handle while the Hornets have withheld several key rotation players from action over the past two weeks, as he's now cleared 30 minutes in six straight games. With Charlotte down seven players due to injury Sunday, Mykhailiuk saw his second-best highest usage rate (27.3 percent) of the second half and was able to pair the increased volume with strong efficiency en route to a new personal best in the scoring column. While Mykhailiuk's minutes should be stable as the Hornets close the season with a three-game week, he's converted at a lowly 40.4 percent rate from the field for his career, so his production may not be especially reliable from game to game even as he handles an elevated role.
