Connaughton drew a spot start in Sunday's preseason opener, but with Giannis Antetokounmpo (rest) and Gary Trent (elbow) returning to play, Connaughton will head back to the bench. Connaughton should see plenty of looks Thursday night as he prepares to handle a bench role in the upcoming 2024-25 campaign.
