Haseley had three stints in the majors during 2022 and produced a .571 OPS in 25 plate appearances. He spent most of the year with Charlotte and posted a .239/.305/.411 slash line with 15 home runs, 63 RBI and 18 stolen bases in 110 games.

The White Sox optioned Haseley to Triple-A Charlotte on Monday.
With Luis Robert (personal/wrist) returning from the paternity list Sunday and expected back in the lineup Monday in Seattle, the White Sox didn't have much of a need to keep Haseley and Mark Payton around as depth outfielders. Both were optioned to Triple-A after logging a combined three plate appearances during their brief stints with the big club.

Haseley was a pinch runner Friday and has now pinch hit in two straight contests, so it appears his illness-related absence has come to a close. The 26-year-old is still unlikely to command much playing time as a depth outfielder. He is batting .250 (5-for-20) with three walks in 11 games this season. Haseley could be at risk of losing his spot on the 26-man roster once Eloy Jimenez (hamstring) or Adam Engel (hamstring) is activated from the injured list.

White Sox's Adam Haseley: Out Sunday with illness
White Sox manager Tony La Russa said Haseley is feeling under the weather and won't be available to start in Sunday's game against the Orioles, Vinnie Duber of AllCHGO.com reports.
Haseley had been in line to receive a start in left field Sunday while regular starter AJ Pollock received a routine off day, but the illness prevented Haseley from cracking the lineup. Instead, Josh Harrison will pick up his first start of the season in the outfield with both Pollock and Haseley on the bench.

Haseley started for the third time since being called up Sunday, hitting eighth while playing left field. He delivered his first RBI of the season on a fielder's choice in the eighth inning after logging a single in the previous frame. Haseley could see steady playing time in the short term if Luis Robert (leg) and Adam Engel (hamstring) -- both currently day-to-day -- are forced to miss further time.

The White Sox recalled Haseley from Triple-A Charlotte ahead of Sunday's series finale in Houston, LaMond Pope of the Chicago Tribune reports. He'll start in right field and bat ninth.
Haseley is back with the big club for the first time since late April after he earned another look with Chicago by slashing .297/.355/.542 with 20 extra-base hits and 11 stolen bases in his 39 games upon returning to Triple-A. The White Sox could give Haseley a short-term look against right-handed pitching as a starter in the outfield or at designated hitter, but he'll likely fade into a reserve role as soon as Eloy Jimenez (hamstring) is cleared to return from the 10-day injured list.

Even with Eloy Jimenez (hamstring) recently landing on the 10-day injured list with a long-term injury and with Luis Robert (groin) considered day-to-day, Haseley still likely found himself behind AJ Pollock, Andrew Vaughn, Adam Engel, Gavin Sheets and Leury Garcia for work in the outfield. Haseley didn't help his case for sticking around in Chicago by going 2-for-10 at the dish following his promotion from Triple-A on April 19. The White Sox reinstated reliever Matt Foster (personal) from the family medical leave list in a corresponding move.

White Sox's Adam Haseley: Earns walk in only plate appearance
Haseley registered a walk in his only plate appearance in the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader versus the White Sox.
Haseley was called up from Triple-A Charlotte to serve as the 29th man for the doubleheader and made his season debut when he replaced Adam Engel in right field during the bottom of the sixth inning. The 26-year-old lefty outfielder only drew one plate appearance during the blowout, but he showed off solid discipline and earned a walk. He'll stick around on the big-league roster for now, as Jimmy Lambert was optioned to Triple-A after the twin bill.

The White Sox will call Haseley up from Triple-A Charlotte and have him serve as the 29th man for Wednesday's doubleheader against the Guardians, LaMond Pope of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Haseley failed to earn an Opening Day roster spot after being acquired from the Phillies in late March. He hasn't done much through 10 games for Charlotte, slashing .211/.302/.237. He'll likely be merely an extra option off the bench, though it's possible he starts one of the two games if the White Sox want to avoid overworking their regular outfielders.

Haseley was already facing a battle to earn a bench spot, but the acquisition of AJ Pollock on Friday pushed him further down the outfield depth chart. White Sox's Adam Haseley: Traded to White Sox
Haseley was traded from the Phillies to the White Sox on Tuesday in exchange for McKinley Moore, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.
The Phillies have a big hole in center field, with the inexperienced Matt Vierling and the mediocre Odubel Herrera (oblique) set to split time this season. The White Sox, on the other hand, have Luis Robert locked into the position, with Adam Engel and Leury Garcia both around as solid backup outfielders. The move therefore seems bad for Haseley's fantasy value on the surface, but it's possible he needs a change of scenery. He was the eighth overall pick in 2017 and sped through the minors in two seasons but has yet to take the next step in the majors. He took a leave of absence for personal reasons in April of last year and remained stuck in Triple-A once he returned, struggling to a .224/.282/.295 slash line.

Phillies' Adam Haseley: Active at Triple-A
Haseley (groin) has gone 3-for-19 with two walks, a stolen base, four runs and two RBI in five games for Triple-A Lehigh Valley since being activated from the affiliate's 7-day injured list Aug. 27.
After being optioned to Triple-A in June, Haseley had been playing regularly for Lehigh Valley for about a week before missing time due to a groin strain and COVID-19 health and safety protocols. He was cleared to begin a two-week rehab assignment in mid-August that included stops at three lower-level affiliates before he rejoined Lehigh Valley. In addition to the extensive time he's missed this season, the No. 8 overall pick in the 2017 first-year player draft has posted a lowly .542 OPS in 19 games at Lehigh Valley, so he doesn't appear to be in the mix for a September call-up to the big club.

Phillies' Adam Haseley: Rehabbing at High-A
Haseley (groin) moved his rehab assignment to High-A Jersey Shore on Aug. 14 and has gone 2-for-18 with a double and three walks over five games with the affiliate.
After the Phillies optioned Haseley to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on June 12, Haseley played regularly for about a week before suffering a right groin strain. Just over a month later, he was placed on Lehigh Valley's COVID-19-related IL, but he's since cleared all health and safety protocols. At this stage, Haseley is likely just attempting to move past the groin issue, but it's unclear when he might rejoin the Triple-A lineup. The Phillies may want to see Haseley finds some success with Jersey Shore before giving him a tougher assignment.

Haseley was placed on the COVID-19 injured list Saturday, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.
It's unclear whether or not he tested positive for the virus, and thus his timetable for a return to minor-league action is up in the air. Haseley has appeared in 14 games for Triple-A Lehigh Valley, hitting .220 with one home run and four RBI.

Haseley (personal) was reinstated from the restricted list and optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Saturday.
Haseley appeared in nine games for the Phillies at the start of the year before spending a month away from the team for personal reasons. He returned to the team to build back up in mid-May and has been participating in rehab games at the Triple-A level, but he'll remain there for now as a regular member of Lehigh Valley's roster until the Phillies next need another outfielder.

Phillies' Adam Haseley: Embarks on rehab assignment
Haseley (personal) will report to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Thursday to begin a rehab assignment, Scott Lauber of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
Haseley has been on the restricted list since April 14, but he rejoined the Phillies for workouts about three weeks ago. After taking some time to ramp back up, Haseley is now ready to get some competitive at-bats in the minors in what should be the final step he needs to clear before returning to the active roster. Odubel Herrera has since taken over as the Phillies' everyday center fielder, and on the heels of back-to-back three-hit games, he appears to have built up some security in that role. Even if Herrera is entrenched in center, Haseley could still factor into the mix for regular at-bats in right field once activated if Bryce Harper (forearm) is still on the injured list.
