Hernandez (illness) is starting in right field and batting cleanup against the Rockies on Wednesday, Kirsten Watson of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports.
Hernandez missed the Dodgers' last two games while battling through a stomach bug, but he's progressed enough in his recovery to return to the lineup for Wednesday's series finale. He's begun the season slashing .286/.309/.563 with two stolen bases, nine runs scored, five home runs and 16 RBI in 68 plate appearances.

Hernandez (illness) isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rockies, Dan Hayes of The Athletic reports.
Hernandez will miss a second consecutive game as he continues to fight off a stomach bug, though it's worth noting he's feeling well enough to be with the team in the clubhouse. Michael Conforto, Chris Taylor and Andy Pages will start across the Dodgers' outfield while Hernandez rests.

Hernandez isn't in Monday's starting lineup against the Rockies due to illness, Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times reports.
This doesn't appear to be a major issue for the slugger, who will be available off the bench Monday according to manager Dave Roberts. Hernandez can be considered day-to-day until further notice.

The Tigers took a 2-1 lead in the top of the fifth inning, but Hernandez ensured that it was a short-lived Dodgers deficit with a three-run blast to center field in the bottom of the frame. The long ball was the veteran outfielder's first of the campaign, and he is now 2-for-12 with four RBI through Los Angeles' first three games. Hernandez should have plenty of opportunities to produce this season hitting among a talented group of Dodgers batters -- he hit third in the order Thursday behind Shohei Ohtani and Mookie Betts and ahead of Freddie Freeman.

Hernandez put the Dodgers on the board with a solo shot in the second inning and added an RBI single in the fifth. The veteran outfielder is slashing .289/.357/.526 during the exhibition slate, and he also went 1-for-8 with a walk and an RBI during the Dodgers' season-opening two-game set in Tokyo, Japan against the Cubs. Hernandez re-signed with the World Champions on a three-year deal last December and could see plenty of RBI opportunities batting cleanup behind Shohei Ohtani, Mookie Betts and Freddie Freeman most games this season.

Hernandez went 1-for-3 with a solo home run Sunday in a Cactus League win over the White Sox.
Hernandez went deep for the first time this spring in the sixth inning, knocking a solo shot to center field off James Karinchak. The veteran outfielder re-signed with the Dodgers in the offseason after belting a career-high 33 homers and adding 99 RBI, 84 runs and 12 steals while slashing .272/.339/.501 over 651 regular-season plate appearances last year. Hernandez has played in six games so far this spring, going 5-for-16 with three extra-base hits.
