Olson went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's win over the Diamondbacks.
The first baseman took Ryne Nelson deep to lead off the second inning and set Atlanta on its way to a 5-2 victory and a series sweep. Olson has picked up where he left off after slugging a career-high 54 homers in 2023, and through eight games this season he's batting .303 (10-for-33) with five doubles, three home runs and eight RBI.

Braves' Matt Olson: Goes deep in win
Olson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, a double and two runs scored in Friday's win over the Diamondbacks.
Olson slammed a monstrous 424-foot home run off Arizona left-hander Tommy Henry for his second of the season. The Atlanta first baseman later added a double off Kevin Ginkel and scored the game-tying run in the ninth inning. Olson appears to be headed for another solid season hitting in the heart of an uber-potent Atlanta lineup, as he's opened with a .269/.321/.654 slash line in his first 27 plate appearances.

Olson went 3-for-5 with three doubles, a run scored and three RBI in Friday's 9-3 win over the Phillies.
The first baseman celebrated his 30th birthday in style by rapping out two-baggers in three straight at-bats, including two in a seven-run eighth inning for Atlanta. Olson set career highs last year by batting .283 with 54 homers and 139 RBI, and he's off to a quick start in 2024 as he looks to put together another stellar campaign.

Olson went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Monday's Grapefruit League game against the Twins.
The first baseman crushed a Pablo Lopez offering in the first inning for his first long ball of the spring. Olson set an Atlanta franchise record with 139 RBI in 2023 while adding a career-high 54 homers, and the 29-year-old is a safe bet to reach triple-digit RBI for the fourth straight season while batting in the heart of one of the most potent lineups in MLB.
