The San Francisco Giants and Los Angeles Angels are interested in Seattle Mariners' reliever Brandon League, tweeted FOXSports.com's Jon Paul Morosi.

Morosi tweeted earlier on Friday afternoon that the Giants, Angels, and Cardinals were the most active teams in seeking bullpen help.

League, in 42.1 innings of relief this season, is 0-5 with a 2.98 ERA and 1.44 WHIP. He's picked up nine saves, and six blown saves, one more blown save than he had in all of 2011. League's 5.31 strikeout rate is down from 6.60 in 2011, and his 3.83 walk rate is way up from last year's 1.47.

League is playing out a one-year, $5 million contract and will be a free agent at the end of the season.
