The 2022 high school football season has now come to an end, and it's clear that St. John Bosco is the top-ranked team in the nation, according to every media outlet but one. The Braves were ranked No. 1 overall in six publications that rank high school football teams nationally. The Braves join 14 other teams that fell inside the Top 25 in all polls.
MaxPreps, CalPreps and High School Football America all released rankings that went beyond the Top 25 teams. Those three polls were used as tie-breakers in our final composite rankings.
To be considered for these rankings, a team had to be included in at least one of the Top 25 lists from the publications we looked at, which also included USA Today, BlueStar Media, NationalHSFB and SB Live. ...
