AUGUSTA, Ga. -- The new leaders of the 2017 Masters are heavyweights. Rickie Fowler, Jon Rahm, Sergio Garcia, Adam Scott, Justin Rose, Phil Mickelson and Rory McIlroy are all teeing off at 2 p.m. or later on Saturday afternoon. Fowler and Garcia lead, and the others are within five strokes.
Fowler is your new solo favorite at the halfway point. This is the first time he has led a major championship after two rounds (or any number of rounds, for that matter).

Here is a look at your new top 10 favorites along with their current scores after 36 holes.
Rickie Fowler (-4) -- 4/1 -- I think Fowler is going to win, so this is a good number for me, but it’s not a good number in general.
Sergio Garcia (-4) -- 6/1 -- Fowler is probably better right now than Garcia, but it feels like there is a little value to be had here given that they’re sitting on the same score.
Jordan Spieth (E) -- 13/2 -- I love his history here, but this is not good value.
Thomas Pieters (-4) -- 9/1 -- This on the other hand is tremendous value. Pieters has the goods! He’ll be a factor on the weekend and could become the first golfer since 1979 to win in his first appearance.
Justin Rose (-1) -- 11/1 -- Still feels like he’s very much in the mix here. He’s a birdie-birdie start from becoming the favorite in my mind, so 11/1 seems tasty.
Rory Mcilroy (+1) -- 11/1 -- I don’t love this number for McIlroy. It will take a minor miracle to win this thing, and with his over-73 Saturday average at Augusta, I don’t see it happening.
Jon Rahm (-1) -- 14/1 -- Buy all the stock.
Charley Hoffman (-4) -- 18/1 -- The Masters leader is 18/1 after 36 holes. How about that for a stat? I think it’s a fine play because there is value, but yeah, there is no way Hoffman is winning the Masters.
Phil Mickelson (E) -- 20/1 -- Does Mickelson go 66-68 and win this thing once or more in every 20 tries? Yes, he does.
Adam Scott (E) -- 22/1 -- See Mickelson, Phil.
Fred Couples (-1) -- 50/1 -- How great would this be? Unfortunately, I think the weather took too much out of Mickelson and Couples for them to factor in this late on Sunday. I could be wrong, but that win was a beating, and they’re both going to be spent.
